As usual, I will not be allowing evil characters in the party. I am constantly re-evaluating each character’s alignment based on their actions. If your actions consistently produce an evil alignment, after a couple of “out-of-game” warnings your character will be “promoted” to NPC status. As an NPC, they will still exist in our world, but you will no longer be in direct control of their actions in the world.
The only exception to this would be Items that change alignment (i.e. Helm of Opposite Alignment). Since this is of course a temporary change, I will not snatch away your character. However, if (at my discretion) the Character is able to escape or otherwise overcome the party, he will be “promoted” to NPC status.
If your character is “promoted”, do not despair. As the author, I may from time to time ask for your opinion on what the character would do, and if the character repents (or removes the Helm) he may even be able to join the party again.
